Portrait of Georgie Cat as a Kitten
George was one of two kittens rescued with his feral mother by a friend of mine. His mother lives in the lap of luxury now, all vestiges of her wild past invisible. George turned into the friendliest, most loyal cat I've ever owned. He's nearly 12 now, a people lover and formidable hunter.

About Indigo Rescue: "While traditional shelters can serve most pets, some, the 'Square Pegs,' don't fit. Indigo steps in to ensure these animals have a place to rehabilitate until they are adoptable. We focus on quality, not quantity, saving one special animal at a time with individualized care and placement plans. This takes time, experience, and ongoing resources, and we need your help to continue our life saving work!"
